Three Things Thursday: Puppy Edition

My phone and I are generally attached at the hip.  Thus, it ends up with a lot of really funny, really random, and really awesome photos....which I will now share with you.  And they may or may not all relate to my seriously rock star puppy.  I can't help myself.  So I guess you could call this Three Things Thursday, Puppy Edition.

1.  Our little graduate.

He graduated from his first round of obedience class.  He can now sit, lay down, stay, drop it, leave it, and heel.  Our next round of classes starts in a week.  Eventually we plan on doing agility and search and rescue with him.  He loves to learn!  I was such a proud little momma since he was the best in class, too!

2.  This is his favorite place to curl up and fall asleep right now.  It's so stinking cute that I can't really handle it.  He like to hide there especially when he's not feeling well.  He's teething currently and it's been rough on him.  Poor little guy.

3.  He's getting huge already.  And he's not even five months old yet.  He used to barely fit in his bed and now he's falling out of it.  He seriously changes every single day.  From this....

...to this...

In just a couple of months.

He's been such a great motivating factor to get out of the house.  It's extremely easy when it's crappy and cold outside to just want to curl up on the couch, but very difficult when an excited puppy is waiting for a walk.  I've been very careful with his exercise to make sure that we don't overdo and injure him.  He loves his walks though and he's even started taking short jogs with me.  He's going to be the best freaking running partner when he gets older!

And I have to throw this extra, non puppy picture in....

...You know you have the best parents ever when they cheer up your winter blues with a delivery of your favorite oranges in the entire world.  Om nom nom.  I am now guaranteed not to get scurvy.

Awesome! You are doing such a great job with him. Our one dog is a real problem child. He waqs taken away from his mom at 4 weeks and my wife hand raised him and somehow he survived. But there are certain things he lacks that he probably would have handled better if his mom could have taught him. He needs serious classes but so far they all refuse to teach him. He is something else but we love him to bits.
