Four Fthings Friday

Don't judge me and my lack of spelling ability.  That's how you spell it.  Promise.

1.  I'm not sure how you people with kids do it.  I am seriosuly freaking out with how much Orion is growing.  It's pretty much daily.  He's tripled his weight since we've gotten him.  It's crazy!

From this little guy....

To this ball of energy....
In just over a month.
My little boy is growing up!

2.  I've decided to try this....

I have some friends that have gotten good results and I think it would be a "nice" way to wake up in the morning.  Plus, it'll help me kick even more butt in our Office Biggest Loser competition.  Woot!

3.  I'm thinking that I am going to give up my gym membership.  I originally enrolled because the gym by me had spin classes that I adored and an awesome yoga class at an awesome time.  Then I moved across the river and to a new branch of the gym.  It's okay.  I'm not terribly thrilled with the classes and they don't have spin at all.  My thought is to take the money I'm spending on the gym and reinvest it in some home equipment.  Thoughts?  Do you go to a gym or work out at home?  What have you found to be more cost effective?

4.  I realize that everyone and their mother is complaining about this, but winter needs to go.  For reals.  I'm tired of not being able to feel my fingers and toes.  I'm tired of the dark all of the time.

On the plus side, it's almost the weekend!

Happy Friday!

1st two years of a puppy's life is tiring for mama (been there twice-almost to the two yr mark with 2nd pup) and I'm glad I don't have human children.

as for home gym vs. gym gym...I wish I had not invested over a $1000 in 2010 on a treadmill for the home gym. I just don't use it like I had hope. For me there's something about me getting AWAY from the house (and all the responsibilities)...sadly I even prefer walking/joggin in snow over the home treadmill.

Enjoy working out with Jillian... she's got some good workouts. I believe that most are around the 30 minute mark so there are no excuses to skip them!!!!

Good luck!

What is this winter you are complaining about? It's been in the 70's the past week!

I love Jillian's workouts. The different levels are not much harder than each other so I rotate them up otherwise it gets too repetitive.
