The weather is hot, but life is good.
One of the difficulties that I have been having with maintaining a training plan is my work schedule. It's no secret that I hate morning workouts. Unfortunately most, pretty much almost all, of my hours are evening hours. I don't get off work till anywhere around 8 to 10 pm and time after that I try to spend with friends, family, and Fella. Yes, I have time in the mornings, but apparently I'm not so good with the whole non-structured mornings. I hate being on an evening schedule. It drains you.
But no more!
I just accepted a new position that will fix all of that, as well as some of the financial woes that have been gnawing at me. It's great in so many ways. Not only will I be able to set my own hours (yay mornings!), but the office is by my favorite park in the entire world. Post work runs will be fantastic!
So that's my big news. Life is good right now. Really, really freaking good.
